Use: | Cangrelor is indicated for the reduction of thrombotic cardiovascular events in patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). It is used in patients who are not receiving oral antiplatelet therapy and is administered as an intravenous infusion.
Adult dose: | The recommended dose is a loading dose of 30 mcg/kg administered as a bolus over 2 minutes, followed by a continuous infusion of 4 mcg/kg/min for the duration of the PCI procedure.

Dosage Information
Adult Dose

Pediatric Dose
Safety and efficacy in pediatric patients have not been established; therefore, there is no recommended pediatric dosing.

Contraindications & Precautions
Cangrelor is contraindicated in patients with active bleeding, history of hypersensitivity to cangrelor or any component of the formulation, and severe hepatic impairment.
