Use: | Treatment of acute attacks of hereditary angioedema (HAE) in adults and adolescents
Adult dose: | 50 units/kg administered as a single intravenous injection; maximum dose of 4200 units
Pediatric dose: | 50 units/kg for children aged 2 years and older, administered as a single intravenous injection; maximum dose of 4200 units
Side effects: | Headache, nausea, diarrhea, abdominal pain, injection site reactions, and fatigue
