About Dexchlorpheniramine Maleate
Class: | Antihistamine (First-generation H1 receptor antagonist)
Use: | Relief of symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis, such as sneezing, runny nose, and itchy or watery eyes; also used for the treatment of urticaria (hives) and other allergic skin reactions.
Adult dose: | 6 mg every 4 to 6 hours as needed; do not exceed 24 mg per day.
