About Doxazosin Mesilate (Mesylate)

Use: | Doxazosin Mesilate is used for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure) and the management of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).
Adult dose: | For hypertension: Start with 1 mg once daily, which may be increased gradually to a maximum of 16 mg per day. For BPH: Start with 1 mg once daily, which may be increased to a maximum of 8 mg per day.
Pediatric dose: | Safety and efficacy have not been established in pediatric patients.

Dosage Information
