Dosage Information

Adult Dose

Initial dose of 3 mg/kg subcutaneously once weekly for 4 weeks, followed by a maintenance dose of 1.5 mg/kg subcutaneously once weekly or 3 mg/kg subcutaneously every 2 weeks

Pediatric Dose

For patients weighing less than 40 kg, initial dose of 3 mg/kg subcutaneously once weekly for 4 weeks, followed by a maintenance dose of 1.5 mg/kg subcutaneously once weekly or 3 mg/kg subcutaneously every 2 weeks; for patients weighing 40 kg or more, follow adult dosing

Injection site reactions, headache, arthralgia, nausea, fatigue

Contraindications & Precautions

History of serious allergic reactions to emicizumab or any component of the formulation; caution in patients with a history of thrombotic microangiopathy

Important Warnings

Risk of thrombotic microangiopathy; monitor for signs and symptoms; may cause increased risk of thrombosis in patients with certain risk factors; not indicated for the treatment of bleeding episodes
