Dosage Information
Adult Dose
Ergocalciferol: 50,000 to 100,000 IU weekly for 8 weeks, then maintenance dose as needed; Vitalipid N Adult: 1 ampule (20 mL) daily for adults receiving parenteral nutrition.
Pediatric Dose
Ergocalciferol: 200 to 400 IU daily for infants and children; Vitalipid N Pediatric: 0.5 mL to 1 mL daily, depending on clinical condition and nutritional needs.
Side Effects

Contraindications & Precautions
