Dosage Information
Adult Dose
One tablet (Ledipasvir 90 mg/Sofosbuvir 400 mg) taken orally once daily, with or without food, for 12 weeks.
Pediatric Dose
Not established for patients under 12 years of age; for patients aged 12 to 17 years, the dose is the same as adults: one tablet taken orally once daily.
Side Effects
Fatigue, headache, nausea, diarrhea, insomnia, and liver enzyme elevations.
Contraindications & Precautions
Co-administration with strong inducers of CYP3A (e.g., rifampin, St. John's wort) and in patients with known hypersensitivity to Ledipasvir, Sofosbuvir, or any component of the formulation.
Important Warnings
Risk of reactivation of hepatitis B virus (HBV) in patients co-infected with HBV and HCV; monitor liver function and HBV status. Risk of serious symptomatic bradycardia when co-administered with amiodarone.
