Dosage Information

Adult Dose

The typical adult dose for local anesthesia is 5 to 10 mL of a 1% to 2% solution (10 to 20 mg/mL), depending on the procedure. For cardiac arrhythmias, the initial intravenous dose is usually 1 to 1.5 mg/kg, followed by a continuous infusion of 1 to 4 mg/min.
