Adult dose:|Typically, 1-5 mL depending on the procedure and site; maximum dose should not exceed 7 mg/kg of lignocaine.
Pediatric dose:|Dose should be calculated based on weight; generally, 0.5-3 mg/kg of lignocaine, not exceeding 5 mg/kg.
Side effects:|Dizziness, headache, nervousness, tremors, bradycardia, hypertension, allergic reactions.
