Contraindications & Precautions
Contraindicated in patients with a known hypersensitivity to paroxetine or any of its components, and those taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or thioridazine.
Important Warnings
Increased risk of suicidal thoughts and behaviors in children, adolescents, and young adults; may cause serotonin syndrome, especially when combined with other serotonergic drugs; withdrawal symptoms may occur if discontinued abruptly.
