About Pegfilgrastim
Class: | Hematopoietic growth factor (Granulocyte colony-stimulating factor)
Use: | Used to reduce the incidence of infection, as manifested by febrile neutropenia, in patients receiving myelosuppressive chemotherapy for malignancies.
Adult dose: | 6 mg administered as a single subcutaneous injection once per chemotherapy cycle, typically given 24 hours after chemotherapy.

Storage Requirements
