About Rasburicase
Class: | Enzyme (uricase)
Use: | Management of elevated uric acid levels in patients with tumor lysis syndrome (TLS) and in patients undergoing chemotherapy for hematologic malignancies
Adult dose: | 0.2 mg/kg IV once daily for up to 5 days; may be adjusted based on uric acid levels
Pediatric dose: | 0.2 mg/kg IV once daily for up to 5 days; dosing may vary based on clinical judgment
