Contraindications & Precautions
Contraindicated in patients with a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC) or Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2), and in patients with a history of severe hypersensitivity to tirzepatide or any component of the formulation.
Important Warnings
Risk of thyroid C-cell tumors; pancreatitis; renal impairment; hypoglycemia when used with insulin or sulfonylureas; and gastrointestinal adverse reactions. Monitor for signs of pancreatitis and discontinue if pancreatitis is suspected.
