About Triprolidine Hydrochloride
Class: | Antihistamine (First-generation H1 antagonist)
Use: | Relief of symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis, such as sneezing, runny nose, and itchy/watery eyes; also used for the treatment of the common cold symptoms.
Adult dose: | 2.5 mg to 5 mg taken orally every 4 to 6 hours as needed; do not exceed 10 mg in 24 hours.
Pediatric dose: | Not recommended for children under 6 years; for children 6 to 12 years, 2.5 mg to 5 mg every 4 to 6 hours as needed, not to exceed 10 mg in 24 h

Dosage Information
