Use: | Used to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus as an adjunct to diet and exercise.

                Contraindications & Precautions
            
            Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to glimepiride, other sulfonylureas, or any of the excipients. Not to be used in patients with diabetic ketoacidosis, with or without coma.
         
        
        
            
                Important Warnings
            
            Risk of hypoglycemia; caution in patients with renal or hepatic impairment. May cause hemolytic anemia in patients with glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) deficiency.
