Adult Dose

250 mg to 500 mg every 8 hours or 500 mg to 875 mg every 12 hours, depending on the severity and type of infection.

Pediatric Dose

Side Effects

Contraindications & Precautions

Contraindicated in patients with a known hypersensitivity to amoxicillin, penicillins, or any component of the formulation. Use with caution in patients with a history of cephalosporin allergy.

Important Warnings

Use with caution in patients with renal impairment. May cause Clostridium difficile-associated diarrhea. Monitor for signs of anaphylaxis during the first dose. Adjust dose in severe renal impairment.
