About Norfloxacin
Class: | Fluoroquinolone antibiotic
Use: | Treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis and other superficial ocular infections caused by susceptible bacteria
Adult dose: | Instill 1-2 drops into the affected eye(s) every 2 hours while awake for the first 2 days, then reduce to 1-2 drops every 4 hours for the next 5 days
Pediatric dose: | Safety and efficacy not established in pediatric patients under 1 year; for children 1 year and older, the same dosing as adults may be applied
