Contraindications & Precautions
Hypersensitivity to pamidronate disodium or any component of the formulation. Severe renal impairment (creatinine clearance < 30 mL/min) is a relative contraindication.
Important Warnings
Use with caution in patients with renal impairment. Monitor renal function prior to each dose. Ensure adequate hydration before administration. Risk of osteonecrosis of the jaw, especially in cancer patients receiving chemotherapy and corticosteroids.
