About Rabies Immunoglobulin

Use: | Post-exposure prophylaxis for rabies in individuals who have been bitten or scratched by potentially rabid animals, and for those at high risk of exposure to rabies virus.
Adult dose: | 20 IU/kg body weight administered intramuscularly, ideally given as soon as possible after exposure, along with rabies vaccine.
Pediatric dose: | 20 IU/kg body weight administered intramuscularly, same as adults, for children exposed to rabies.

Dosage Information
