About Terbutaline Sulfate

Use: | Terbutaline sulfate is used for the treatment of bronchospasm in patients with asthma, bronchitis, and emphysema. It is also used for the management of preterm labor in pregnant women.
Adult dose: | 0.25 mg (0.5 ml) subcutaneously every 20 minutes as needed for up to 3 doses; for preterm labor, 0.5 mg subcutaneously every 20 minutes for up to 3 doses, then continuous infusion may be initiated.

Dosage Information
Adult Dose
