Dosage Information
Adult Dose

Pediatric Dose
For children aged 6-17 years, the usual starting dose is 0.5-1 mg/kg/day, divided into 2-3 doses, not to exceed 4 mg/kg/day.

Contraindications & Precautions
Contraindicated in patients with asthma, severe bradycardia, heart block greater than first degree, cardiogenic shock, and hypersensitivity to propranolol or any component of the formulation.

Use with caution in patients with a history of heart failure, diabetes (may mask hypoglycemia), and those undergoing surgery (may require adjustment of anesthetic). Abrupt discontinuation may lead to exacerbation of angina or myocardial infarction.
