Gentamicin Sulfate (COLIRCUSI GENTAMICIN) 3 mg/ml Eye/Ear Drops is used for the treatment of bacterial infections of the eye, such as conjunctivitis and blepharitis, and ear infections like otitis externa caused by susceptible strains of bacteria.

Store at room temperature, away from light and moisture. Do not freeze. Keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use.

Dosage Information

Adult Dose

For eye infections, instill 1-2 drops into the affected eye(s) every 4 hours. For ear infections, instill 2-3 drops into the affected ear(s) 3-4 times daily.

Pediatric Dose

For children, the dosing is similar to adults: for eye infections, instill 1-2 drops into the affected eye(s) every 4 hours; for ear infections, instill 2-3 drops into the affected ear(s) 3-4 times daily. Adjustments may be necessary based on the severity of the infection and the child's age and weight.

Side Effects

Common side effects include eye or ear irritation, redness, itching, or stinging. Less common side effects may include blurred vision or temporary hearing changes.

Contraindications & Precautions
