About Cyclizine Lactate
Class: | Antiemetic; Antihistamine
Use: | Prevention and treatment of nausea, vomiting, and dizziness associated with motion sickness, vertigo, and postoperative nausea and vomiting.
Adult dose: | 50 mg intramuscularly or intravenously every 4 to 6 hours as needed, not to exceed 200 mg in 24 hours.
Pediatric dose: | Not recommended for children under 6 years. For children aged 6 to 12 years, 25 mg intramuscularly or intravenously every 6 to 8 hours as needed, not to exceed 75 mg in 24 hour

Use with caution in patients with glaucoma, urinary retention, prostatic hypertrophy, or pyloroduodenal obstruction. May impair mental and/or physical abilities required for the performance of potentially hazardous tasks such as driving or operating machinery. Use with caution in the elderly due to increased risk of confusion and sedation.
