Contraindications & Precautions
Hypersensitivity to penicillamine, history of penicillamine-related aplastic anemia or agranulocytosis, breastfeeding, rheumatoid arthritis patients with a history of renal insufficiency.
Important Warnings
Monitor for signs of bone marrow suppression, proteinuria, and other renal effects. Regular blood counts and urinalysis are recommended. Use with caution in patients with renal impairment. Avoid use in pregnancy unless clearly needed.
