About Ivabradine
Class: | Antianginal agent, If Channel Inhibitor
Use: | Treatment of chronic stable angina pectoris in patients with normal sinus rhythm and a heart rate of 70 bpm or more; also indicated for the treatment of heart failure in certain patients.
Adult dose: | 5 mg orally twice daily, may be increased to 7.5 mg twice daily based on heart rate and tolerability.
Pediatric dose: | Safety and efficacy not established in pediatric patients; not recommended for use in children.
