About Lixisenetide
Class: | Glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist
Use: | Indicated for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults, to improve glycemic control in conjunction with diet and exercise.

Dosage Information

Risk of pancreatitis; monitor for signs and symptoms. Not recommended for use in patients with severe gastrointestinal disease. Caution advised in patients with renal impairment.
