Uses & Indications

Mesna is used primarily to prevent hemorrhagic cystitis associated with the use of certain chemotherapy agents, particularly ifosfamide and cyclophosphamide. It acts by inactivating the urotoxic metabolites of these drugs.

Dosage Information

Adult Dose
