About Amikacin Sulfate
Class: | Aminoglycoside antibiotic
Use: | Treatment of serious infections caused by susceptible Gram-negative bacteria, including infections of the respiratory tract, urinary tract, and bloodstream, as well as certain types of bacterial meningitis.
Adult dose: | Typically, 15 mg/kg/day divided into 2 to 3 doses, administered intravenously or intramuscularly; maximum daily dose should not exceed 1.5 g.

Dosage Information
