Pediatric Dose

Similar to adults, the dosage for pediatric patients is individualized based on the same factors. Routine prophylaxis for children may involve 20-50 IU/kg administered 2 to 3 times per week.

Common side effects include headache, pyrexia (fever), and infusion site reactions. Development of Factor VIII inhibitors is a potential side effect.
