Use: | Sodium Picosulfate is used for the treatment of constipation and for bowel cleansing before medical procedures such as colonoscopy.
Adult dose: | The standard adult dose is 10-20 drops (5-10 mg) once daily, preferably at bedtime. The dose can be adjusted based on individual response and tolerance.
Pediatric dose: | For children over 4 years: 2.5-10 drops (1.25-5 mg) once daily. Not recommended for children under 4 years without medical advice.

Dosage Information

Contraindications & Precautions
Contraindicated in patients with ileus, intestinal obstruction, acute surgical abdominal conditions, acute inflammatory bowel diseases, severe dehydration, and known hypersensitivity to sodium picosulfate or any of the excipients.
Important Warnings
Use with caution in patients with a history of electrolyte imbalance. Prolonged use may lead to dependence and loss of normal bowel function. Not recommended during pregnancy and lactation unless clearly needed. Discontinue use if severe abdominal pain or persistent diarrhea occurs.
