About Doxycycline Hyclate
Class: | Tetracycline antibiotic
Use: | Treatment of various bacterial infections, including respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, acne, and certain sexually transmitted infections. Also used for malaria prophylaxis and as part of combination therapy for H. pylori eradication.

Dosage Information
Adult Dose

For children over 8 years, 2 mg/kg on the first day, followed by 1 mg/kg once daily; maximum dose is 100 mg per day.

Contraindications & Precautions
