About Ticlopidine Hydrochloride

Use: Prevention of thrombotic stroke in patients who have experienced stroke precursors and in patients who have had a completed thrombotic stroke  
Adult dose: 250 mg orally twice daily with food  
Pediatric dose: Safety and efficacy not established in pediatric patients  
Side effects: Neutropenia, thrombocytopenia, diarrhea, rash, nausea, dyspepsia, elevated liver enzymes
