About Abemaciclib
Class: | CDK4/6 inhibitor
Use: | Treatment of hormone receptor-positive, HER2-negative breast cancer in combination with an aromatase inhibitor as initial endocrine-based therapy or in combination with fulvestrant in patients with disease progression following endocrine therapy.
Adult dose: | 100 mg orally twice daily; may be taken with or without food.
Pediatric dose: | Safety and efficacy have not been established in pediatric patients.
