About Voriconazole

Use: | Treatment of invasive aspergillosis, candidemia, and other serious fungal infections caused by susceptible organisms
Adult dose: | Initial: 6 mg/kg IV every 12 hours for the first 24 hours; Maintenance: 4 mg/kg IV every 12 hours or 200 mg orally every 12 hours
Pediatric dose: | Initial: 9 mg/kg IV every 12 hours for the first 24 hours; Maintenance: 8 mg/kg IV every 12 hours or 200 mg orally every 12 hours (for children ≥ 2 years)
