About Azacitidine

Use: | Treatment of myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS), acute myeloid leukemia (AML) in patients who are not candidates for more intensive therapy
Adult dose: | 75 mg/m² subcutaneously once daily for 7 days in a 28-day cycle; may be increased to 100 mg/m² based on tolerance and response
Pediatric dose: | Safety and efficacy have not been established in pediatric patients
