About Zidovudine

Use: | Treatment of HIV-1 infection in combination with other antiretroviral agents
Adult dose: | 300 mg orally, administered as 100 mg three times daily or 200 mg twice daily
Pediatric dose: | 4 mg/kg orally every 6 hours (up to a maximum of 200 mg per dose) for children weighing less than 30 kg; for children weighing 30 kg or more, the adult dose may be used
