About Azithromycin (Dihydrate)

Dosage Information

Adult Dose

500 mg IV once daily for 2 days, followed by 500 mg orally once daily for 7 days (or as directed by a physician).

Pediatric Dose

10 mg/kg IV once daily for 2 days, followed by 5 mg/kg orally once daily for 7 days (not to exceed adult dose).

Side Effects
