Dosage Information
Adult Dose

Pediatric Dose

Contraindications & Precautions
Hypersensitivity to citalopram or any component of the formulation; concurrent use with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or within 14 days of stopping an MAOI; use in patients with a history of QT prolongation or congenital long QT syndrome.
Important Warnings
Increased risk of suicidal thoughts and behaviors in children, adolescents, and young adults; may cause serotonin syndrome, especially when used with other serotonergic drugs; caution in patients with a history of seizures or bipolar disorder; potential for withdrawal symptoms upon discontinuation.
