Use: | Treatment of diarrhea, particularly in cases of acute nonspecific diarrhea and to reduce the frequency of bowel movements
Adult dose: | 2.5 mg of Diphenoxylate Hydrochloride with 0.025 mg of Atropine Sulfate, taken 3 to 4 times daily as needed
Pediatric dose: | Not recommended for children under 2 years; for children 2 to 12 years, the typical dose is 0.3 mg/kg/day of Diphenoxylate (not exceeding 5 mg/day) divided into 3 to 4 doses
