Use: | Relief of cough due to minor throat and bronchial irritation as may occur with the common cold or inhaled irritants
Adult dose: | 10-20 mg every 4 hours as needed; do not exceed 120 mg per day
Pediatric dose: | Not recommended for children under 4 years; for children 4-6 years, 2.5-5 mg every 4 hours as needed; for children 6-12 years, 5-10 mg every 4 hours as needed; do not exceed 60 mg per day
