Uses & Indications

Storage Requirements

Store at room temperature (20-25°C or 68-77°F) in a dry place; reconstituted solutions should be used immediately or stored in the refrigerator and used within 24 hours.

Dosage Information

Adult Dose

3.375 g to 4.5 g every 6 to 8 hours, depending on the severity of the infection and renal function.

Pediatric Dose

For children ≥ 2 months: 100 mg/kg/day to 200 mg/kg/day divided every 6 to 8 hours; maximum dose should not exceed adult dosing.
