About Tirofiban Hydrochloride

Use: | Used for the prevention of cardiac events in patients with unstable angina or non-ST elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI) undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI)
Adult dose: | Initial bolus of 0.4 mg/kg IV over 30 minutes, followed by a continuous infusion of 0.1 mg/kg/min for up to 72 hours
Pediatric dose: | Safety and efficacy not established in pediatric patients; not recommended
