Dosage Information

Adult Dose

Initial dose of 2.5 mg/kg IV for malignant hyperthermia; may be repeated as necessary; for spasticity, usual starting dose is 25 mg/day, increasing as needed up to a maximum of 400 mg/day

Pediatric Dose

For malignant hyperthermia, 2.5 mg/kg IV; for spasticity, dosing should be individualized, starting at 0.5 mg/kg/day and adjusted based on response and tolerance
