Storage Requirements
Store at 20°C to 25°C (68°F to 77°F). Protect from light and moisture. Once reconstituted, the solution should be used immediately or stored in a refrigerator and used within 24 hours.

Dosage Information
Adult Dose
The typical adult dose for acute conditions is 40 mg to 120 mg administered intravenously or intramuscularly, depending on the severity of the condition. For maintenance therapy, doses may be reduced to 4 mg to 48 mg per day.
Pediatric Dose
For children, the dose is typically 0.5 mg to 1 mg per kg of body weight, administered intravenously or intramuscularly, not to exceed 60 mg per day. Dosing should be individualized based on the condition being treated.
Side Effects
Common side effects include insomnia, mood changes, increased appetite, weight gain, fluid retention, elevated blood pressure, and gastrointestinal disturbances. Long-term use may lead to more serious effects such as osteoporosis, adrenal suppression, and increased risk of infections.
Contraindications & Precautions
Contraindicated in patients with systemic fungal infections, known hypersensitivity to methylprednisolone or any component of the formulation, and in patients receiving live vaccines. Caution is advised in patients with peptic ulcer disease, diabetes, hypertension, and renal insufficiency.
Important Warnings
Use with caution in patients with a history of gastrointestinal disease, diabetes, hypertension, or infections. Long-term use may lead to adrenal suppression; therefore, gradual tapering of the dose is recommended when discontinuing therapy. Monitor for signs of infection, especially in immunocompromised patients.
