About Stavudine

Use: | Treatment of HIV-1 infection in combination with other antiretroviral agents
Adult dose: | 1 mg/kg (up to a maximum of 40 mg) taken twice daily
Pediatric dose: | 1 mg/kg (up to a maximum of 40 mg) taken twice daily for children weighing less than 30 kg; for children weighing 30 kg or more, the adult dose applies
