About Imatinib Mesylate

Use: | Treatment of chronic myeloid leukemia (CML), Philadelphia chromosome-positive acute lymphoblastic leukemia (Ph+ ALL), and gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GISTs)
Adult dose: | 400 mg orally once daily; may be increased to 600 mg or 800 mg based on clinical response and tolerance
Pediatric dose: | For CML, 340 mg/m² orally once daily (up to a maximum of 600 mg); for GISTs, dosing varies based on weight and indication
