About Denosumab

Use: | Treatment of osteoporosis in postmenopausal women and men at high risk for fracture; treatment of bone loss associated with hormone ablation in patients with prostate or breast cancer; treatment of giant cell tumor of bone.
Adult dose: | 60 mg subcutaneously once every 6 months.
Pediatric dose: | Not established; not indicated for use in pediatric patients.
