Class: | MEK inhibitor
Use: | Treatment of unresectable or metastatic melanoma with BRAF V600E or V600K mutations; used in combination with dabrafenib for BRAF V600E or V600K mutation-positive non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC)
Adult dose: | 2 mg orally once daily; may be reduced to 1.5 mg or 1 mg based on tolerance
Pediatric dose: | Safety and efficacy not established in pediatric patients
