Use: | Treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus; weight management in adults with obesity or overweight with at least one weight-related comorbidity
Adult dose: | Initial dose of 0.6 mg subcutaneously once daily for one week, then increase to 1.2 mg once daily; may be increased to 1.8 mg once daily if additional glycemic control is needed
Pediatric dose: | Not approved for use in pediatric patients under 18 years of age

Risk of thyroid C-cell tumors; pancreatitis; renal impairment; hypoglycemia when used with insulin or sulfonylureas; not recommended for use in patients with severe gastrointestinal disease
