Use: | Treatment of cytomegalovirus (CMV) retinitis in immunocompromised patients; also used for the treatment of herpes simplex virus (HSV) keratitis
Adult dose: | Apply a thin layer of Ganciclovir eye gel (1.5 mg/g) to the affected eye(s) 5 times daily until the corneal epithelium is healed, then reduce to 3 times daily for maintenance
